The ability of a material to resist wear, or to wear at a known rate, is a very important property.  It is one we are set up to quantify for you.  We can use our wide range of research equipment to measure the wear resistance of provided materials, ranking their performance.

Our bespoke wear tests are designed by expert tribologists.  Each with many years of experience, they are available to offer the best advice to allow you to get the most from the results.

Techniques

  • Erosion by liquids

    Our slurry erosion rig, allows us to simulate the effects of particles in liquids. We work with the oil industry testing materials for pumps and in pipe work.
